BOA barrel in very nice shape. 10" from tip to tail. I'm unsure what the material on this one is however it's nicely done and durable. It comes as shown with orings and metal detent. The bore inside is great.

Rough idea on bore size? If it doesn't weigh a metric ton i would wager aluminum from the pictures and finish.

I'm unsure of the bore size. It does have a little heft to it.

BOA's weren't aluminum. They were primarily brass.

Curious. I wonder if it's sleeved that way. An odd decision for sure.

I don't have experience with hydro dipping, however I think this is something other than that. It is nicely done. Perhaps someone will chime in as to what it may be.

My BOA barrel which is similar to the one in the picture is a brass barrel with chrome then some powdercoating

BOAs are always hard chrome brass. They did offer powdercoat, but over the chrome. Bore sizes were either .692 or .688... smaller bores were possible but rarely ordered.
