I forgot to ask, are these parts clear coated raw aluminum? Or silver annodize? Should we be protecting parts before use? Thanks

They are raw. I've used and left mines raw with no issues.

Kit quick question: how far (exactly) does the barrel stick out the front of the gun? (thinking of making some kind of feedgate for the top tube, and would love to make it line up perfect with the end of your barrel )
