              if there's a tapped hole in the underside of the valve tube that lines up with the transfer hole into the bolt, it should have a grub screw threaded into it (usually 1/4-28). if you decide to part the stock I wouldn't mind picking it up, it was an early engraving job and I'd like to redo it properly

                  Thank you for the tip, grub screw added. I wouldn't be able to part the stock, but I will make sure the new owner is aware. If it stays in my hand long enough, I may send the stock for a "tune up" depending on costs.
