I've been making/selling home made jelly, jam, and syrups using local ingredients that I've foraged from the local area. I don't use any store bought fruit, with the exception of peaches for my peach/ghost pepper jam (where the ghost peppers are locally sourced). Everything else are berries, fruit, and flowers that I have picked myself. I have now started a new program called "Jam for the Troops". The proceeds for my jam sales now go to a local USO where I volunteer. This USO services hundreds of soldiers in training status every year, and offers them some snacks, creature comforts, and time away from the drill sergeants. Despite some people's perceptions that everything in the Army is soft, a lot of these guys and gals still have a pretty tough time in training and having some hotdogs or a bag of chips while watching TV for an hour can make a big difference.
Let me know what you are interested in and I will check my inventory since I sell locally and don't make huge batches of this stuff. Everything is canned in a clean environment using the water boiling method, not the oven baking method. Prices do not include shipping, I will ship your item and then charge you actual shipping. I noticed that the post office forces me to use priority mail sometimes and "normal" parcel other times, based on the zip code it is going to.
I will be away for work from July 24 to August 10 but I can process orders after that. Let me know if you have any questions.
