Cyber Monday Sale -
ONLY for Monday and Tuesday, prices will be $5 per 8 ounce jar for everything except paw paw, which will be $7 per jar. I have a batch of recently made hibiscus jelly as well, which I will sell for $4.00 per jar for the special. Hibiscus is known to have health properties, if you are into that alternative medicine stuff. If you aren't, it tastes sweet and floral...pretty much how it looks. Finally, I have two jars left of light dandelion syrup which I will sell for $4 a jar also. This one is more liquidy than the dandelion "honey", and my customers typically add this to coffee/tea.
Also in stock:
Blackberry (Very limited, it gets bought locally the second I make it)
Mulberry Jam
Apple Jelly
Apple Sauce
Apple Butter
Hibiscus
Paw Paw Butter

All Cyber Monday packages are out, minus one which is going out tomorrow. I'm going to keep some Cyber Week Deals going since we're trying to raise as much as we can to fund some upcoming holiday parties for local military members. The local USOs are bringing "mobile" holiday parties to the bases so that junior enlisted members, especially those in student status, are able to have some holiday fun.
As a reminder, I ship first and THEN charge you the merchandise amount with the actual shipping that UPS charges me.
Deals good until Sunday:
16 oz (A LOT) jars of mulberry jam/spread - $13
16 oz jars of apple jelly - $15
8 oz Hisbiscus - $5 or $4 each if you order 6 or more
4 4oz Jar "Flight" - Beauty Berry Jelly, Apple Butter, Apple Sauce, Dandelion Jelly - $12

Hey folks -
I've been focusing on in-person sales in the wake of all of my USPS issues. Thankfully, it's been a great season, and I'm north of 200 dollars' worth of sales this year alone. The unripe mulberries are on the trees and I'm trying to clear out old inventory. The mulberry jam from last year will be good for another year but I need to make room (literally, I have a small kitchen) for the 2022 mulberry set. So, in honor of the late spring season, I'm running a mulberry madness and dandelion sale since we've had plenty of those as well.
8 ounce jars dandelion: $4.00
8 ounce jars mulberry: $4.00
One lone jar 16 ounce jar of beautyberry, $8.00
Plus the cost of actual shipping to your location. Shipping will be conducted through UPS. If you are anywhere between VA, MD, and NC, I travel often and might be able to take a detour to get some to you.

The last two packages I sent to completely different places were 14 bucks each. I put stuff in the smallest possible box I can without risking breakage, send it to you before payment, and then charge whatever the actual shipping is from UPS. It's probably going to be around that 13-15 amount right now.

Thanks to everyone who has been buying mulberry. The new season started today. I just picked about 5 cups of fresh mulberries, so the next batch will be coming soon. This deal is still on. I also found some older 8 beauty berry jars I hadn't accounted for. They are from November of 2020, so still within their best by 2 years use date. I cracked one open and ate some today and it's still the same as when I canned it.
Spring Mulberry Special:
8 ounce jars dandelion: $4.00
8 ounce jars mulberry: $4.00
8 ounce jar of beautyberry, $4.00
OR, FIVE OF ANY OF THE ABOVE FOR $17!
I will soon have a few more batches of wild blackberry as well. These are frozen, wild blackberries I harvested last year and they fly off the shelves the second I make them.
Note, I travel routinely for work to the DC area and North Carolina, occasionally other parts of the country. I can time it so I can ship to you in a different location to save on shipping. I will be in Ohio in late July as well.
Edit: Still have normal flavors for normal prices. Plenty of paw paw, apple jelly, and apple butter left!Last edited by NSGSplatmaster; 05-18-2022, 12:15 AM.

Hey folks,
I'd like to express my gratitude for everyone that has supported the Hampton Roads USO so far. Here is my dillema. I sent 3 packages recently and the one with the thickest box and the most packaging got destroyed. UPS would not refund me originally stating that no perishable items were insurable. Then, they said I had insufficient packaging. If I decrease the amount of jars that go into the box and put more packaging, it will be about 15 - 18 dollars to ship 3, 8 ounce jars. If I increase the size of the package and add more packaging, it will be about 20 - 25 dollars shipping. I don't expect people to pay equal to or more than the amount of the product on shipping.
A friend of mine suggested vacuum sealing the product into bags. You could then snip the end and squeeze out what you want, or you could cut it open and place the contents into one of your own jars. The benefit is no smashed glass risk, much smaller boxes could be used, resulting in less shipping fees, and more product could fit into a box. I get that buying things this way is kind of weird, but would you guys be willing to buy product delivered in this manner? The only down side is that vacuum sealing does not have the same length of preservation as a sealed jar does, probably a few months from the time of sealing versus 2+ years.
Either way, I can no longer ship glass jars in boxes. If I lose one package, I lose a week's worth of sales.
