Shane-O used to work security at a rink, and would take home broken sticks. He had someone make aluminum mounting brackets, that would fit the inside of a hollow
stick shaft. It was drilled for bottom-line mounting. He’d cap them with a tennis ball. Poorly drawn example below:

i don’t think they shipped with tennis balls tho just the normal plastic nub on the end of a hockey stick. He would let you pick color combos that matched your gun. I just want any of them. I feel like he made a lot of em
but haven’t seen one since.

Considering how often hockey sticks break, there should be a good supply of dead sticks. I’ve got a bunch in my basement. I assume he used composite sticks for this?

Yes. He had basically infinite supply of sticks.

but I really want one he made with the adapter. I think you could just use long screws and mount straight through the hockey stick but I don’t want to do that.
