    Tippmann 98 bolt

Looking to buy a tippmann 98 aftermarket bolt

Is there a specific 98 bolt you had in mind? Most of the aftermarket ones perform significantly worse then stock, but a few were actually pretty good. I always like the ones with the internal "O" Ring for improved efficiency, but they did require you to lightly sand the power tube.

But you also need to use those with at least an RVA if not a regulator in order to actually save any gas

I use Tapatalk which does NOT display comments. If you want me to see it, make it a post not a comment.

Absolutely correct. I almost always throw some type of RVA on my tippmanns, even if it's just a set screw with a lock nut, then loctite the IVG all the way open and adjust the velocity through the RVA. Usually swap out the valve spring too, and drill out the gas line a bit for extra volume. If it's a 98 I'll throw a carbine valve front in it while swapping out the spring for a touch more volume as well.
