    ICD Threaded Feedneck Adaptor

Looking for a feedneck nub that will allow me to use a PE clamping feedneck on my ICD eclipse bushmaster. Super Staunchy has a CCM to PE, which is perfect except for the CCM part of it. Inception offered a ICD to Empire, but they seem sold out of a lot.

    Any help appreciated.

you can always cut a tall stock feedneck down. I did this one for a member here.

@supernova I'm pretty sure it's empire spec. This is my shooter, but Myrkul is the one re working it. It's close to being ready to rip.

Empire spec, there are more feedneck options and it sits lower than pe.

For reference.. superman also added a second detent to this beast. If you can't find the feedneck you are specifically after. His services will make it a much more user friendly shooter. Picture from Myrkul.

It is very close....just need to sink a few more hours into tuning it and it should be good to go!

Inception just restocked their ICD to Empire nub. Ordered. We’ll see.

If it comes down to it, I’ll try and source a stock neck and circle back to Superman.

The gun is shooting extremely well, just trying to update as the A+ style feedneck I have is a pain in the ass.

So I've tried to use the inception stub several times. It sucks. It's either too loose or too tight. Everyone currently making stubs claims that ICD/Empire/Impulse/Ion is the same but they are ABSOLUTELY not. They will screw in, but because of stacked tolerances and the threads being "slightly" different, there is a HUGE risk that if you take a nasty dive you'll tear the threads out of the body, ESPECIALLY if you are using a really durable and heavy loader like a rotor. Back when ICD guns were more popular it was a pretty well know issue. Absolutely your best bet is to send it to a reputable air smith like beared works to modify the feedneck that is currently on there. BMC has done the mod for me in the past as well.

I absolutely would not risk an impulse/ion threaded stub on your Eclipse. You'll never forgive yourself if you strip out the feedneck on that, and you sure as hell will never be able to replace it.

Well hell… ok, I’ll take your word for it. The A+ neck I have on there now doesn’t have enough meat to mill. I’ll have to dig around for the original eclipse neck to see if that’s a donor. Chances of coming across an original B2K feedneck is likely… unlikely.

Got the inception stub and clamping feedneck today. It threads in as I would expect. Not too loose, and not too tight. I feel pretty good about the attachment and will add a drop of loctite when I make a final aesthetics decision.

Now to find some black hardware.
