    PGP2 bolt upgrades

I just got a pgp2000 and I am looking for the cooper t bolt for it, or a "centerfire" bolt.
also looking for rubber grips or anything better than stock.
If you know someone doing freak boring also let me know I'd like to have that done

Cooper T bolts are hard to come by. If you want a centerfire bolt you’ll have to move the feed hole forward because the bolt is longer than the rim fire bolts. Which means taking the tubes apart. There are a few on here who do freak mods but it’s either they are booked or busy with life in general. You could try contacting JeeperCreeper.

You cannot freak bore a pgp...

Only way to get a free system on to them is to replace the entire upper tube it is doable but it's a little bit more involved.

I'll throw my hat into the ring to do your PGP upgrade. I would not freak bore it - your basically building a new gun and adding a ton of weight. What I can do is wedgits - 2 without de-soldering, 3 if I take it apart. can also do a palmers style valve job to get more consistent velocity above 260 or so, pad the bolt, and provide you with a really comfy 3d printed grip that i sell here. here are couple photos of my work. I can strip the stupid black paint and go brass or patina in a nice Black similar to the earlier PGP's. I Will dig out my more recent one and take pics. It makes the PGP a totally usable and super fun marker to play with instead of a pile of frustration! highly recommend RVA, quick change and spring kit from PGP junkies to really round it all out. PM me for pricing and options.

It's got an rva and a nice quick 12 gram cap which is factory on the pgp2k.
otherwise ready for some nice mods

Palmers style valve jobs for the pre-cartridge PGPs involved widening the transfer port, Plugging 2 of the 4 holes, reaming out the inside of the valve body and threading an alignment screw to hold the valve in the correct orientation. cartridge valves were a little different but the concept was the same - ream everything out to allow more volume up through the transfer port. It makes a big difference in consistency, recharge time and velocity. Add in some wedgits and its actually a really fun gun to play with.
