Thinking of an over under Sheridan....

So I have a write-off Sheridan that I'm tearing into.
I got thinking to myself, a double would be neat-o, and then made the mistake of thinking some more. An over-under double would be extra neat-o.
A quick google showed that I am in no way original in this line of thinking, it appears Palmer has done some in the past.
What I couldn't find was pictures of how to get yer gas to the top barrel.
Tapped into the side or is the bottom bolt's inlet bored straight through to feed the top bolt (not sure you'd get consistency that way)
Does anybody have one, or have an idea the best way to feed air to the top barrel?

PPS over-unders have a passageway through the lower bolt to feed the upper bolt. From what I've read, it is less consistent but not markedly so.

Good news that it's a through bolt set up, that is much less hassle to pull off. I'm suprised it works. One of those things, I guess you don't know if you don't try.

I think it would be cool if you set the lower tube back a bit. And used an external cocking rod. Even cooler, Id like to see brass hardline from the valve into the back of each bolt housing. Like a stem the bolt rides on. You could even give each bolt its own air restrictor.

Played a round with a Palmers O/U dual side tube .45 12g "Pug".
Thing was over the top heavy, even by a KP shooter's scale.
Bad Ass! But like so many oddballs it was a slow loading, highly inefficient, unwieldly & at that price level a little distracting in game.

Yeah, I'm trying not to go too far down the rabbit hole with it, it's easy for me to innovate myself right out of creating anything useful with overly ambitious "seemed like a good idea" concepts.
KISS is the mantra for this one, more of a proof of concept really.
Will prolly set up 2x direct feed, likely c/a with a barrel length in a Pirahna LB ballpark.
Work begins next week when I get home!

A friend of mine has one too, I'll lean in him to see if he wants to part with it.
Had it out yesterday, very light and flickable. Really dig the left side feed tube, being a lefty, it's a much more natural roll of the wrist to load.
The efficiency sucks on 12grams, but there's a fair amount of piping it runs through. I've got banjo bolts en route, those elbows sticking way out the side were all I had on hand.

Anybody have any tips on improving efficiency at the valve? I see Palmers does a tuned valve for co2, do they work?
