It's doable. Not really any different than my cocker style, with the exception being location of pnuematics. Mine started off very much like what you're doing, and then we decided to make a few changes with it. It actually started off as a PGP.
There was a guy on POG and maybe here that put a race frame and MQ valve on a nasty back mid 2000s. He was getting like 25 cycles per second on that thing. I have a mpeg video saved on my hard drive from that. I'll have to see if I can find his page.
A Stroker. Easier with those since they use standard Cocker gripframe screw spacing. (Other way around, really - Cockers use Sheridan spacing - but it doesn't really matter that much.)
