I have 2 different pump mag kits so we can do a good comparison between them all. I also have spare wave springs so he wouldn’t need one.

NONOBLITUS and F1FX both volunteered first... I'll PM you guys and we'll work something out. Thanks guys!
BLachance75 Thanks for the help as well, looking forward to your feedback too.

Last thing I need to sort out is the pump rod. I bought some 0.110" drill rod, which is what the AGD drawing calls out. I'll find some time this week to make a couple.

Does anyone have a pump milled BODY that they could let me borrow? Mine is not milled. I can print one as a proof-of-concept, but it would be nice to use a real body

Got the pump milled body from BLachance75 last week: thanks man! Hoping to make the time this week to put a kit together and check function.

assembled! The fit is good, not too sloppy (a little play to be expected, plastic parts and all).

what I’m having trouble with now is the pump rod profile. tweaking it a little bit here and there, but I can’t seem to get the tip off the rod to contact the bolt quite in the right place.

                getting there

Are you making a version for emag/rt length rail?

So, small update, it's been awhile.
I have been having some trouble getting the pump rod to touch the bolt rim just right, causing some binding. I'm using a 3D printed pump rail, which I don't know if it may be part of the problem.

So I jumped on a few parts that came up for sale yesterday, including a real pump-milled rail. Hoping that once the assembly is using a legit rail, i can at least rule out any issues that may have been cause by trying to use the printed rail. Then I'll tweak the pump rod profile to work with the real milled rail.

My concern was that if I "make it work" with the 3D printed rail, it may cause issues for folks using an actual milled rail since I can't guarantee that my printed rail is proper.

BLachance75 i've still got your body, will make sure it makes it back to you. If you need it sooner rather than later just let me know.
F1FX and NONOBLITUS , still tracking that you guys will help me with testing once I've got it ironed out.
Big thanks to jpdgas for selling the pump mag parts!

I had no idea this was happening, hopefully the factory milling example helps!

Got me some sweet pump parts in the mail! Aired up and the binding issue is still present but less pronounced, hoping to tweak the pump rod a little today and get it shooting.

From a few years of teching my son's only marker pump mag, be aware that shorter barrels and smaller paint lead to higher regulator pressures. It needs the higher pressure to get the same velocity with a short minimag barrel, which is also over bored. This is hard on paint and can puncture softer shells. It also shows in your total shots per CO2 tank.

He would still use the short barrel when it would work tho.

That's just a mag thing you probably already know; that set up just reminded me.

Cycling great now! The bend on the end of the pump rod was to dramatic, which was not letting the bolt cycle when the pump handle was in the forward position. I dry fired a whole 3.5 oz co2 without any more binding.

Now to print 2 more sets and make sure it's repeatable.
