    [POP Contest] Crazedloon's Nasty Poo

Lets try and turn a pile of beat rentals into my first double barreled marker.

Here is our starting point a basket of beater rentals most of which were mostly good only for scrounging parts.

After some effort I was able to tear down and recover the parts for 2 complete markers

using the first of my funds ($15 for hardware and parts) to pick up some angled aluminum and bar steel I threw together a set of brackets to be the bases for attaching two bodies together securely.

    on the to do list:
    1. Further cleaning and refinishing the finished project
    2. modeling and printing a dual magwell to attach to the sight rails (will be using zetas as I have some in my parts box)
    3. modifying the rear plugs to be threaded for a RVA for better tuning of velocity
    4. adding a regulator to hopefully lower the trigger weight (palmer Stab from parts box)
    5. create a trigger group which will trip both sears (the goal is to fire in sequence rather than simultaneously)

Shit, not even a hiding place, if those barrels are unported just try to smoke it right out of there.....maybe use a C02 filter to keep the "scobbie snacks" from entering your mouth....Because that looks like some finely ground Mary Jane.

    I think that's what you'd call a "core sample"

Well if the rest of the build doesn't go well I guess y'all have pointed out the alternative I could be building. And yes that was indeed a core sample which I can only assume has been in there for a decade or so.

Here is the progress so far, managed to get a prototype of a mag feed printed, still needs some kinks ironed out before I weigh and determine the final cost

And I have added mounting points for a dovetail asa to mount a regulator to the front.

now that I got the easy stuff out of the way I will need to start designing the grip portion.

long time for this update but got some good progress

"Built" a rail for the grip, this will be a point for the sear trippers to attach and they will be hinged on the slider autococker timing hole, or at least that's the running theory/plan. Rail is more of the square steel tube, drilled for grip screws and pin for the sear trippers.

Also as can be seen I have gotten some steel pin stick and cut a piece to fit the sears and spacers properly.

I have also drilled and added RVAs, currently Allen head bolts but I am debating picking up cup-point set screws instead so they are not hanging out the back. Also as can be seen I have added a cocking slot to the right side of one of the bodies so that I can cock each separately.

And Last but not least I have opened up center feeds so that the magwell can feed straight into the bodies.

obviously the bodies are rough and will be getting cleaned up, re-primed and painted.

However before that the next big challenge will be setting up the sear trippers.

Unfortunately due to real life this project got put on a shelf and was not completed for the original contest. However after some delay I pulled it off the shelf and have gotten back to finishing this

Next up was solving the trigger configuration, and the solution was to use some left over parts from a pneumag build to create a trigger group.

Inside is a Fabco MSV-2 and I was able to repurpose the origianl pro-carbine trigger for the build, and to keep the grip simple I have gone with a standard block to use any AR grip, or in my case a grip from a hammer-2.

Currently its lopsided as I am waiting for a second MP3 and a T-fitting for the output.

added additional slots in the rail for the air and added springs for the sear.

Assembled the build to test everything holds air and test the trigger group. Everything airs up and works, and now I just wait for the last few parts.

I love that you're still building it anyway. I'm hoping for another poo contest soon.
