Amazingly I’ve found even more rare footage! I wonder how many more places the Storm Pooper pops up!

While they might be a little short for Storm Troopers these two were eager assistants for my testing firing! Firing video to follow, assume it recorded properly.

Well, even after choosing the “embedded” function on YouTube ai still can’t embed the damn video. But I will figure it out one day and it will be glorious!

The Storm Pooper shoots well. Can’t aim down the barrel due to the plunger, so make it a little more difficult to dial in shots, but was pretty good once I got my target! I had a remote line on the gun, so not the most stable platform.

The sound is distinctive, I’ll say that much! Won’t be able to lose me on a field if I’m shooting that.

I had two other issues, one being overfilling the hopper causing jams. I tested early in development and found 20-25 balls optimum. For testing I just dumped as much for a 50rd pod that would fit.

My second issue was double feeding. My detent needs to be replaced, which is easy enough. The plunger actually caught the rollouts in its lip, as you can see in one of the video clips.

The “bolt” action is surprisingly nice. Not too stiff. I shoot left-handed so it makes it a little awkward but will be bringing this to the field next time I play and next stag I go to this will definitely make an appearance.

Let me know if there’s any questions or requests.

So in my final post in the Poo Thread I just want to mention what my original idea was for the build and how I ended up with what The Storm Pooper.

My original concept was to take an old BT-4, repaint it, make it sparkle (literally) and add a Barbie doll sitting on a “toilet hopper”. I have purchased the white paint as a base layer, and actually bought a second rattle can of silver sparkles. After painting the body flat white, and looking at the rocker cock and other parts I thought it looked a little Storm trooper-ish. So I thought I’d see how things looked with the grip frame then painted white and the grips and other parts left black and ai was going to just use a black plunger on the barrel. As luck would have it I found a poo emoji plunger at Hone Depot that was perfect for the build.

I ended up liking the Storm Trooper theme and showed my kids. They thought it was very cool, and as big Star Wars fans really liked the idea. The I came up with the perfect name, “The Storm Pooper”. It was just too good of a theme. The biggest hurdle was getting a Storm Trooper to mount on the toilet. Apparently Storm Troopers toys are expensive! But luckily I found a dog toy Storm Trooper that was the proper size at a decent price and if shot it should even squeak!

Throughout the poo build my kids were very interest and liked to check on the progress of the gun. My oldest even helped disassemble the body once or twice and they were extremely excited to test fire it. I got given a stern talking to if they caught me test firing the gun without their help. They were extremely thrilled to throw on a mask and shoot a few rounds at the side of the house and both kids scored direct hits on the target mask.

For the story section of my build I got ideas and inspiration from my kids as well. My oldest was thrilled to see the pictures of her various Lego figures and the Lego version of the paintball gun. Making the silly story and the Lego scenes was as enjoyable as the paintball build itself.

Unfortunately I haven’t been able to get to a field, but this spring or summer the Storm Pooper will see some action and turn some heads (mostly out of confusion).

This has been my first build challenge and it was really a lot of fun, especially given the state of the world at the moment. I hope people enjoy it and it makes them smile.

Thanks for running this contest and to all the other participants each with their own awesome and creative builds!
