    Recreating a PT SC Sniper

For years now I have wanted a Pro Team Stock Class Sniper or at least build a stock class sniper. I had a pre2k vert feed I found on CL. It had the top milled and drilled to accept a CCI feed. And it had a bucket changer. I had trouble with efficiency with 12ies and couldn’t get it to shoot more than 14 shots. I posted it up for sale as a whole then as parted and no bites. So I ended up putting a regulator and an on off asa and on compressed air it shot so well. I ended up trading it to my best friend. I have been enticing him to get it back but he said it shot too damn good. I agree it shot darts. It was ugly but it shot beautifully.

Years ago I found and bought a PT stock class feed on eBay. I held on to it for a while until I found a body. And after a few years had passed, I gave up and I gave it away to a friend. Two weeks later a body popped up here. Terrible timing. I thought to myself that it wasn't meant to be so I gave up.

This time last year a body kit went for sale, but there was no stock class feed. I was negotiating with the seller but it never came to fruition, and my friend said he had installed the SC feed on a build already. So I gave up again.

Last week I caught the bug hard and promised myself Im gifting myself on behalf of my birthday and Christmas that I would finally build one. I contacted Forest at Pro Team and he got back to me with parts he had scrounge up around the shop. What he found was last PT SC feed, a back block, bolt, an armson rifled barrel, and a feed-neck that were all spare parts for a PT SC. But the cherry on top was a prototype benchmark frame that has teardrop milling. I even received the parts with extra goodies inside. Thank you again Forest. No body unfortunately but just having the feed was more than enough for me.

So, I needed 2k-2k2 spec vert feed body and other miscellaneous parts which I sourced and sourcing from the amazing members here. Now I am ready to send the body to be milled to accept the feed, female angel threaded and some custom milling. Ill be having Estilo do that work with his Carter inspired signature cuts.

This is mainly to document my build. I have never done this before and always wanted to. Thanks for reading. To be continued.

Shout out Forest, Latches, and Hutbrew.

My old Stock Class Sniper that I traded to my friend. So ugly but it shot straight. Point shoot kill.

So the PT is a single bolt from behind the feed hole?
Is it the same dimension as most Spyder/CCM?
            Or they different?

            Love the pill mill!

            You going to regulate it?

I’m running a Palmer Cart on mine but it needs tuning it shoots velocity but I want better efficiency I need to balance it out with heaver springs I think.

correct the PTSC SC feed is held in place by a single allen key behind the feed hole, the PTSC bodies were CCM threaded for the feedneck itself as well

Yep it has a set screw behind the feed hole.

              No idea about the dimensions.

Thanks! Estilo Paintball from SoCal did the milling. His style is Carter inspired. So its now a ptp/carter inspired build.

Yep tossing in a cp v3. This will be running on a tank. I have given up on the pursuit of a 12ies on a sniper, I couldn’t get the right balance for efficiency. Those are what my phantoms are for.

Looks like a fun build! Looking forward to see what you do with it.

That looks fun you going to leave it cram and jam or adding a feed tube?

subscribed. I'm collecting parts for similar build, though I am going to tackle the 12gram problem again and hopefully get what I need out of it. I saw the body on estillos Insta glad to see the rest of the build documented here. That was a helluva score from forest!

I hope you get good results man. Yeah Estilo does good work. And Forest is amazing I was surprised that he provided me with more than everything I needed. Especially the proto benchmark frame.
