    Badgers Sheridan Strike

Hey Guys. It's been a long hiatus but it feels good to back.
I've been lurking on the FB groups but there's no real community like we have here.

So this project had been collecting dust on my bench for the past 6 years. I wasn't able to get it wrapped up for one of these build-offs. With this COVID lockdown I finally took the time to finish this off. I'm also motivated by the fact that my son will be old enough to play this summer. This should garner some respect with his peers
Here's some shots I took over the build. I'll ad a video later.

Sorry for the poor quality. Was in the rush as the snow was coming in.

Awesome build! In your test video, the first mag of FSR appears to have the rounds not loaded correctly. That may have been the cause of the misfeed. I'm glad it seems to have good velocity! Most (not all) Sheridans I've worked with struggle to shoot above 260, and extending the bolt would make it worse.

Thanks. Didn't even notice. It's the first time trying FSRs.
The RVA is not far in so the velocity can go up.
I also did quite a bit of work on the valve and opened all transfer holes.

This is the tightest shit I've seen in ages.

How secure is the frame? Seems like it might be a bit sketchy, but I'm guessing you have another screw inside the frame where the RVA normally goes?

Dude. You have no idea how sick I think this is. I've wanted to do something similar for so long.

Yes there is a SS screw inside the frame. Solid.
I haven't hardened the trigger plates yet. Do you think it's necessary?

You sir have won MCB for the day. Absolutely coolest build I have seen in a long time.

                          kudos
"but we all have electros and you guys only have pumps, this wont be fair"

                          (chuckling quietly) "we know"

Hardening the sear might be a good idea, if only because Sheridan hammers are rock hard... might wear the sear out with some serious use.
And God turned to Gabriel and said: “I shall create a land called Canada of outstanding natural beauty, with majestic mountains soaring with eagles, sparkling lakes abundant with bass and trout, forests full of elk and moose, and rivers stocked with salmon. I shall make the land rich in oil so the inhabitants prosper and call them Canadians, and they shall be praised as the friendliest of all people.”

“But Lord,” asked Gabriel, “Is this not too generous to these Canadians?”

And God replied, “Just wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them."
