Further to my 'smaller bore inserts' question I'm wondering if anyone makes iFit compatible backs? I don't have a lathe to make my own so I've been trying to design a plain one on Fusion360 to outsource to PCBWay or JLCCNC and figured I'd ask on here to see if someone's doing them, of has done some, already.
Specifically, I'm after an old Angel thread version. I know TechT made an Angel back but it's the newer Angel threads. It's for one of my Angel 05 Speed builds so, as far as I know, it has to be the old Angel threads to pair with my Hammerhead barrel. I'm doing a similar setup for a couple of my Spyder builds, iFit to Armson, so I'd like to do the same for my 05 Speed.
Alternatively, it could be a custom freak back with old Angel threads on both ends. I have one with Cocker threads on both ends (currently on my pre-2k MiniCocker project). I'd bought it years ago, probably around 2012(ish), so I can't remember who made it. This wouldn't be ideal for the build as it would make for a very, very long barrel, but if it's all I can get then I'll adjust my plan/build to accommodate.
If there aren't any machinists on MCB willing to make either version...
Has anyone outsourced paintball parts to somewhere like PCBWay or JLCCNC? I've never used them so I've been looking at them, as mentioned at the beginning of the post, but I don't know how to do the required technical drawings. If anyone on here has experience of using these services, can you tell me what you had made and how complicated was it's design, how easy was the whole process, how good was the overall finish on the item, and are you happy with what you'd received? I don't like to bother a machinist (or people in general) unnecessarily so these companies seem like a good 'final option' for me if there aren't any machinists on MCB willing to make one.
