My ancient bandsaw blade snapped this far from completing the second trigger.

As usual in these types of endeavours, I had to sand down a washer to get the last one in to center it.

The profile of the 2nd one feels better to me.

Cap printed and adjusted. Gotta get that sliver of light under the rocket or the Enmey isn't happy.

This was worth the time. The thing is even more of a paint hose now. The flex of the trigger going in and releasing is gone. Not hearing as much chuffing, which should be attributable to that. Hopefully that results in a little more efficiency.

Looks great! You beat me to the aluminum trigger. It is good to know that it will make the difference i was thinking it would. I like the idea of the plastic shoe for the rocket. I need to get on it and make one. I repaired my belt sander last night just for that reason.

I used a large vacuum cap from Auto Zone as a trigger shoe on my Tippmann Raider when it was mech. Worked great. The Raider is a lot like the Enmey

No band saw at home so i was going to roughly shape it with the bench top belt sander then go to metal files and a vice to finish the shape.

Reflex0283 has PMed me with the possibility of him plasma cutting a run of them out of slightly thicker stock. I neednto have a
.dxf file of the shape for that to happen. I have a nice pencil on white paper tracing of the 2nd one. Do you have any idea how to get that into dxf? I assume the plasma cutter is a 2D process.

Calvin it's a 2D file, I could also just make it myself and then it's not your problem at all lol

The metal trigger is very cool, but I'm somewhat confused. Why are you using a 3d printed cap instead of integrating it into the trigger itself?

Because adjustment of the cap is much easier. I can make changes on the pc and print out a new cap in 8 minutes. I dont need the trigger out to change caps, so I can remove and replace the cap to do fine adjustments via sanding. I would rather have the trigger standardised and the caps adjustable.
