Dang I love that detent idea!! I was thinking of drilling/tapping them for shocker SFT detents or something similar.

Also curious to see how the feedneck goes. Cocker feednecks are pressed in, and they do fine.

I will report back after the feed neck has been though a couple of games on if it is still attached or not. Same with the detents.

    Big update:

TLDR: Modifications appear to have worked other than a new leak down the barrel i gotta figure out. Waiting on a regulator seat, new asa, and another part.

Click image for larger version Name:	20260412_140222.jpg Views:	0 Size:	4.51 MB ID:	822671 As it is now. Hopefully the feedneck doesnt fall out.

Click image for larger version Name:	20260409_181546.jpg Views:	0 Size:	1.50 MB ID:	822687 Carefully. Tap drill .125" deep for 5/16-24 and then carefully tap just deep enough the .088" long shortened set screws bottom out at the prefered depth.

Detent too tall to actually move once the set screw is installed. Time to modify.

Click image for larger version Name:	20260409_202422.jpg Views:	0 Size:	2.13 MB ID:	822683
Hand sanding thickness down to .156 tall overall. Now they work but the springs kept binding. They need guidance.

Click image for larger version Name:	20260409_205439.jpg Views:	0 Size:	1.39 MB ID:	822681 A slight dimple on the back side of the set screws did it. Courtesy of a 90 degree center punch wack.

Click image for larger version Name:	20260409_210200.jpg Views:	0 Size:	2.04 MB ID:	822678 Now they work and cycle freely. After assembly and testing 2 days later, they worked flawlessly after 3 pods through a halo2 (thankfully... i was really worried).

Click image for larger version Name:	20260409_200610.jpg Views:	0 Size:	2.07 MB ID:	822686 Feed neck press fit was .002. I ended up going smaller after the side walls kept getting shorter while i was boring the body. Ended up deciding on .812 as the bore for the feed neck. Modified the feedneck down to match and press fit it together without any epoxy or locktite. I hope it lasts.

Click image for larger version Name:	20260409_210253.jpg Views:	0 Size:	1.67 MB ID:	822688 Assembled.

Click image for larger version Name:	20260411_073648.jpg Views:	0 Size:	2.09 MB ID:	822680 Assembled.

Click image for larger version Name:	20260411_073610.jpg Views:	0 Size:	1.83 MB ID:	822676 3D printed a drill guide to port the barrel. I was fretting over how to do it when a coworker suggest just printing a drill fixture. Genius. Worked perfectly.

194 holes 1/16 diameter drilled with one drill battery (somehow). Then a lot of fly lapping using the same drill battery to deburr and fine-sand the interior of where the holes are.

Click image for larger version Name:	20260412_140228.jpg Views:	0 Size:	3.25 MB ID:	822675 Turned put better than i could have hopped. We will see if it lasts.

Click image for larger version Name:	20260411_213341.jpg Views:	0 Size:	1.94 MB ID:	822673 Using Rainmakers (i think it was theirs) body model. I made a Enmey Rail. Just like a 'mag rail but for an Enmey. I made a few changes, like adding a counter sunk hole for the mounting screw, a decorative tail to transition from the frame to the spool can, and a few minor changes.

A little filing and clearancing later, it works!

Click image for larger version Name:	20260412_140222.jpg Views:	0 Size:	4.51 MB ID:	822689 All assembled. Just a few components left to arrive and a few modification left. I really want to modify the bolt to be a soft tip somehow. Working on that next while i wait on my Punisher PB order to arrive with the new ASA and a new reg seat.

I also have a small leak down the barrel i need to track down. I am sure its a damaged oring, i just dont know if ita from me disassembling it so much or from a damaged oring groove somewhere.

EDIT! just realized that i may not have the budget to leave those APP grips on there. I paid 32 total for 24 pair of grips. Does that mean that the current market value is $1.33?

Just for reference, less hopper and tank but including barrel, it weighs 25 oz. My normal spool marker weighs 32 in the same state. I think that this is my lightest marker now. Hmmm, what else can i shave off...

Thank you. There are so many unique builds happening and it seems like no wrong way to build it either.

Is there enough meat on the body for some cosmetic cuts? Even just some ribs (for her pleasure) and a custom anno? That would really make a lowly enemy stand out. I know the anno would be outside the pop budget.

Definitely a possibility, there is almost no meat over the air volume chamber but there is some meat that could come off in other places. It would be neat to see one milled up or a model concept showing possible milling.

The Hobbit it's got some meat to it but it varies. Here's a cross-section diagram of the gen 1 eNMEy. The gen 2 body is a bit different

StaticShocked You're selling yourself short with the "poor craftsman" title. Everything about this build is so clean. I especially love the threaded detents.

Thanks! It kind of snowballed because i was having fun and fell in love with the design and potential of the enmey. I had never seen one before.

A CS3 soft tip bolt and the Enmey bolt have the same inside diameter. I used a spare soft tip and cut the groove in the bolt to retain it. Appears to work! It didnt come flying out when i shot it which is a win for now. One thing was weird though. I chronoed it yesterday and set it to 270ish, today after the soft tip install it was shooting 320. Same freak insert, same barrel, same paint (from sealed bag). The reg was leaking out of the middle and top holes, one of which i assume is the over-pressure bleed hole? I adjusted it back down and I am assuming the culprit is the reg but dont understand how it jumped 50 fps (presumably by overpressure). Any suggestions? I did clean and put new orings in the reg a week ago, new seat has not been installed yet but it shipped today.

Enmey bolt tip modification dimensions to accept a CS3 soft bolt tip insert. $4 from Planet Eclipse or $8.50 shipped from action village on ebay.

Sounds like the reg seat is leaking, hence the over pressure.

GOG repair parts arrived today. Replacing the reg seat and reg piston oring with a factory one seemed to have done the trick. I am getting 270 to 285 fps consistently but the paint is smaller than the insert i had on hand. But, no spikes! Yay! I will shoot another pod through it tomorrow and verify velocity is holding. I put the new ASA on as well.
