I've always liked the way these look with the long shroud. Throw a qloader on there and it's even better. Unfortunately the plastic needs to be reinforced somehow to be able to use the thing. -
Yeah the SP8 is very cool. I don't know if it would be possible, but a DAM mag mod would be insane, especially mech. They were a great concept, but not so great execution.Originally posted by Terry A. DavisComment

I have a Mech SP8 on the shelf...
It would take a whole lot of work, just to be destroyed though. The plastic didn't stand the test of time. Mine is cracked and glued all over, and the feedneck broke so I made one from brass and epoxied it to the body. Basically swapping the internals into a similar looking airsoft body would be more viable, especially with a 3d printed mag reciever

There is a warpig article about modding one for a warp or Q-loader setup.
The other marker that looks just like this is the JCS MKX8. It was an STBB in an interesting modular design. Not a great gun but interesting. It would be easier to make it mag fed than an SP8.Comment
