IIRC the MCS boxmag's use the rip clip as the drive for them, so this should work just fine in a custom setup as well

I struggled to get a rip clip to worm on guns it was designed for.

Iirc this version of the Rip clip is based on the VL Vlocity while the earlier ones that use cyclone hoppers are Halo based.

That makes me wonder- has anyone had any success getting those EMF Warpmag devices to work with a Velocity?

To the extent mine works it only works right with something Halo-based, and even then it's picky about paint.

I had a Z2 on mine that worked well enough the bit I used it. The creaky shells just didn't inspire confidence. I've heard of people using a Rotor and upping the spring tension on it. I've also tried the Vmech wind up hopper and it works but it's not something I'd use in any serious gameplay.
