I was just booking my hotel for Stocktoberfest on Priceline. They have the express deals which just tells you how many stars the hotel is, but never tell you what hotel you get until after you pay. I don't use those deals anymore due to a disaster when it booked me in this super sketchy Red Roof In once (3 stars my ass).
However on teh express deal details there is a section that has "Hotel Location" which gives a flowery description of where it is. I checked and it is unique for all hotels. So I just copied that text, and clicked on hotels in the normal listings and would hit ctrl+F to bring up the page search and paste in the text. Sure enough I found a perfect match. The express deal is $95, and the hotels listing is a Holiday inn express for $217 a night. Not a bad deal!
EDIT: I just discovered that the location details can be the same for more than one hotel. But you can combine the search with the "Extra Details" section that talks about covid protocols and pet fees and stuff.
