Talking about keeping one loaded for self defense - back in ‘99 i went to the mall at midnight to pick up 2 Dreamcasts my brother in law & i had preordered. I didn’t have a handgun at the time & was worried about a mostly empty parking lot at 1:00 or 2:00 in the morning with no security in a small but often times fairly dangerous city so i took my new m98 with a full hopper & full co2 tank. Odds are i would never have even gotten the chance to use it if someone stuck a gun in my face but it made me feel better at least.
i knock them around unless venomous. and if venomous would find piece lumber kill at trust plant or at laundry place large broom handle to kill.

See, in my part of texas, more often than not it could do damage. I have both recluse and widow webs in my crawlspace, which gives me all sorts of warm fuzzy feelings.

I'm wondering if I could get paintballs full of deltamethrin or something to just blast around in there. Cuz by the time I see it, good chance it's been on me a while.

I don't want to risk the spiders getting back up so it's 45-70 or nothing.

FYI the bug-a-salt does nothing to carpenter bees. they literally just wiggle a little bit and go back to hovering around.

I wack em with a tennis racket out of the air. Break clean in the holes if they make it home. Also purchased a trap that works well. The more bees it traps the better it works. They love my cedar tongue and groove siding.

There's a v2 with a reputation for vaporizing anything smaller than a hornet. Might work on a carpenter bee.

There is something immensely gratifying about cracking a carpenter bee with a whiffle ball bat. The loud pop. The tailspin as they crash to the ground. Running over and grinding the dirtbags into the ground.

I don’t currently. But I keep telling my wife that we can’t see the dorito side of the house from our bedroom.
