WARPIG was good stuff. I also miss PB City. Lots of good information and, second to MCB, the nicest forum dwellers I've come across.

Anyone remember the OSOK forum? I never considered myself a "sniper", and there was a lot of signal:noise ratio, but there was some good info on there.

      Doc.
There's still quite a bit of that in the Custom Section on here.

Once the Guild switched over to it's new format I gave up trying to navigate it... I've tried to sign up for a Network54 login too many times to count, and without one the forum doesn't keep track of what's been read and hasn't, making it hard to keep track of what I was looking at.
And God turned to Gabriel and said: “I shall create a land called Canada of outstanding natural beauty, with majestic mountains soaring with eagles, sparkling lakes abundant with bass and trout, forests full of elk and moose, and rivers stocked with salmon. I shall make the land rich in oil so the inhabitants prosper and call them Canadians, and they shall be praised as the friendliest of all people.”

“But Lord,” asked Gabriel, “Is this not too generous to these Canadians?”

And God replied, “Just wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them."

PBReview was one I visited a lot. Our local field (Gator in Hudson FL) had forums too. I would troll them on a regular basis!

The good in all this happening here is that I started looking for my picture of the old guns I had and I have found some really good old stuff I posted on other sites. Funny how different I was 15 years ago.

I started on PBReview and I still think that was one of the best online communities in paintball. Almost no toxic members, and a great, knowledgable base. Still miss that site and its a total shame they didnt index and backup the review portion of the site. So many good reviews and photos lost to that.

This is my origin story as well. PBreview was a lot of fun, but it was 95% BS.

Adding Automags.org to the list. That place seems to have become the trashy trailer park of paintball forums.

-Haven't been there in a while, but really, considering it focuses on a gun that's been out of production for, what, over a decade now, and of course Kaye himself has moved on to other things, it's kind of more of a surprise it hasn't devolved into spambot-central, or just closed up entirely.

(Don't get me wrong, I do what I can to keep the 'Mag going- and I think I have, like, 6-3/4 myself - but really, the age of single-brand boards has kind of passed. Facespace groups notwithstanding. )

I started as a mega troll in the PaintballCity flame forum... Even paid for a membership when they pay walled. Then spent most of my time after they shut in PBN politics... After getting back into the actual game I've mellowed a bit and trying I'm to learn to lurk more than post.

There was another forum I spent some time in that felt pretty low tech vs PBC/PBDojo... can't remember what it was called.

Gawd I loved the PhOG, been away from the sport almost 15 years now and was sad to see it gone.

Also turtlecocker.com. From a different era when getting rid of the back block was one of the coolest auto cocker upgrades. Now everyone wants the back block. My how the turntables...

Hurricane Owners Group and SCP for me. I think Stock Class Paintball is the only forum I've been apart of that I didn't actually spend a majority of my time lurking. I got the chance for a few years to be a part of the SCP Bunkhouse at EMR too. That was a solid good time, with probably a bit more shenanigans than the guys hanging out down at the MCB Bunkhouse.

BEOG - Stingray one in particular (S.T.I.N.G. ?), is how I got my start in modifying paintball guns.

Forums that are still around though, can't beat some of the discussions over at The Guild.
