Oh geez... I started out in the late '90's on the Paintball City forums. Then I was on the POG for a time. Found MCB wayyy back in the salmon-themed days. Was really into the first A5OG and somewhat on the second A5OG. Both of the UMS forums were great, but yeah... it really blows when a forum you love just vanishes. Glad to see this place still standing.

      Lets see....

Started at the PGPOG (Still really miss the cool side tube builds and the guys-B, Kamfer...) then went to SCP then PhOG before landing here. Bought my first "good" pump gun (a 1995 ex-rental sniper 2) from Bacci on the old SCP forum and was hooked on old school since then. Landed here once one of the SCP members directed me to MCB "where the majority of the old guns are bought and sold".

I started on TechPB. Was kinda surprised to see that the forum and Mike pretty much dipped out the same time I did. Game was getting too expensive at the same time when gas prices were shitty and taxes were high.

And lol now I see him posting new videos the same time I start getting interested in paintball again.

podbitch.com - for a few years one of the most entertaining and amusing flame fests on the internet.

I spent most of my time on the Tippmann official forums. It was actually a bumping place in about 2005-2010, given the prevalence of the company. I had over 10,000 posts if I recollect.

Yeah I am feeling this. I was on POG. One day it was down and I was diverted to this place 'MCB', where there was a snarky thread about POG being down, and to calm down about it, or something. The traffic and content was better here, half the members were the same, so it stuck.

Really miss all the forums available. Seemed like there used to be a forum for each and every paintball gun out there. Yet another casualty of the Facebook era.

I loved the Spec Ops forums. Up here in Southern Ontario the Flag Raiders forun was super active at one point, as well as the TDotBallers forum. Facebook groups killed them off pretty fast.

Now mcb is multi nostalgic for me.

I was on the old Tippmann forum briefly, sometime when it was still TPI and they had the Hellhound on the front page. Mostly I remember committing one of the key forum sins by failing to lurk enough, asking a dumb question about what the "reputation" stars meant, and sparking an 8 page thread of sarcastic responses, including a full recap of the "golf ball through a garden hose" scene from FMJ.

I also remember some chronic goofball / troll who would post these horrible ideas and spark a lot of conversation about whether the guy was trolling or legitimately stupid. Examples being DIY instructions for a homemade cardboard mask, and an idea for a full sized paintball sword with replaceable paint segments that would break as you wailed another player with it.

I was on the Tippmann forum for a short time as well, only when I asked what I thought was an OK question I basically got tore out. Never went back.

MCB is really the only online forum I can call home. My time on PbN was fun & all, but in the end it was just a futile effort in teaching people what truly mattered.

I got my start on the Old POG/Paint Magazine forum (mikew ). They also had the CPPA and the Aussie group on there as well. After one of the lost backups, Craig tried to move the POG over to his own site and that killed it for me. I joined old salmon MCB back then and have been around since.

model98.net was great. I wonder what ever happened to NN, just looked over on the nation and he hasn't logged in for 9 years.
                            I still haunt automags.org a bit
PBN back when OSST was hopping, it was trash but it was fun, the Tippmann sub was great as well back in 04-06ish
tippmannowners.com was really my spot until it went down. I managed to eventually get a backup of it sent to me by its prior admin, but never got around to putting it back up
I remember using PBReview quite a bit as well

Yeah, the old Tippmann forum did get kinda cliquey. I was DeTrevni over there, and I apologize if I was one of the razzers. I was definitely more of a dick back then.

Most the OG gold has already been mined.

It wasn't as old as many forums the have been mentioned , but Sacpaintball.com was a well trafficked local forum for us Norcal players.
