    I won't carry a spendy blade. I lose things.

The Tenacious is one of my favorites. Great knife for the price.

one of my non-work edc knives is the Kershaw select fire. has a built in bit driver and 2 bits on each (2 Philips and 2 flats).
there are soooo many times when i just needed a small Philips. especially have 2 kids. toys come screwed into the cardboard case now, everything needs batteries, and the battery door is always screwed down. lol

The titanium scales are a huge improvement over the grivory scales it came with. The knife feels so much better in the hand and the action is a lot crisper. I could shave with the edge I keep on it too.

Here's mine, it's not a pocket princess, it's a tool and it gets treated as such. I find the $50 price point to be kind of the sweet spot for me. I tend not to lose knifes and this one is going on about 5 years of steady use. These CRKTs tend not to hold the sharpest edge but it is enough and the tanto blade and lock is incredibly strong and holds up to frequent use as a screw driver and prybar.

Or super tinker (with the scissors)

I used to hate scissors but nowadays it’s the main thing I end up using. So it’s my favorite tool now.

        ...
You might like a knife/tool I picked up recently from NexTool called the Knight. It's based on the multitool community practice of taking something like a Leatherman Wave and essentially unbolting it in half- keeping one half of the tool with the main blade and swapping in the implements from the other half into the recess left by the missing pliers. You end up with basically a boxy Swiss Army Knife with bigger blades and tools- in this case a 3" locking straight edged blade and a really big pair of scissors. I also really like the way it retains Leatherman-style ruler markings for measuring things like bolts and screws.

Amazon has these on sale right now for $22.

Yeah that looks great. I wish it had tweezers somewhere. I hate when companies without them even go as far as making fun of them like “who needs tweezers?!”

Excuse me have you never had a splinter or a hair to pull?

But yeah that looks like it has most of it. The tool for magnesium rods seems a little unneeded but probably there was space available.

I always have something, 99% of the time it's my Spyderco Delica, ca 1995. A good sailor always has a knife.

Like Tug says, a sailor always has a knife. I also have a spyderco. I like it because it was not too expensive, has a deep pocket clip, opens with one hand but is small enough to just stay out of the way. Click image for larger version

Nothing. I rarely carry my wallet, keys, or phone on me when I’m home in Atlanta. I don’t do the smartwatch either. Might throw a CC, ID, and insurance card in my bag when I’m out on the (pedal) bike.

My wife got me this Slidewinder for like ten bucks which I've started carrying everywhere. It's so small I forget I have it. Only downside is I need to buy a torx wrench to change the blade, which is annoying.
I have much nicer knives, but this is the one that stays clipped to my pocket.

Is that a glass breaker above the blade? Or is it a flat and Phillips screwdriver head? Pretty nifty if it is.

Screwdriver flat. The tab at the bottom is half a Phillips head. I guess anything solid metal can be a glass beaker though

I like that. I’m a big fan of the disposable blades. Always sharp and never have to worry about destroying a $200 knife by using it as a knife.

Unless it's as dull as a popsicle stick. Then you might be better off with the popsicle stick.

lol You could always sharpen a popsicle stick. Also I can make a razor you can shave with out of a plastic garbage bag just saying. #PrisionShankYo
