      New to the forums!

Rocking a small Sebenza lately - only for light work with just opening letters and packages 😆

The trusty Chaparral lightweight and Zebralight. Both of these ended my knife and light quest.

I've got a Milwaukee fastback I love, came in a 2 pack for $10 at Home Depot. Razor blade box cutter, Phillips, flathead screwdrivers, and a bottle opener. Everything I need on a day to day and no need to sharpen a blade just replace it when needed.

Is there a story behind the set of dice?

          @FullContactUSA

As a teen I played a lot of Cee-Lo at local skateparks local fields for another pod of paint, and then at tattoo shops with my friends/artists or even with co-workers it's basically "street craps" a simple gambling game. Much smaller than a deck of cards to keep in my pocket, however I do keep a deck in my car and in my toolbox

yeah, i think the same rules apply to cards, ie; never play cards with a person who carries around a deck of cards...

if someone asked if i wanted to play dice, and then pulled the 3 required dice out of their pocket, id probably just walk away lol

As the dice carrier I can't say that I blame you, however the rules are simple and most of the time now it's played for fun, not money. Or if it is money, it's pocket change. But also, I still associate with many folks who also carry dice so at least in my circles it's not weird to have dice... I mean don't DND players carry dice? Lol

What are all you guys doing all day that require flashlights?
I’m not hating, I think gadgets are amusing, and I do work into the night, but I suspect most people do not.

So for those of you who don’t work in dark holes or overnight… Why everyday carry a light?

*note: because they’re cool is a perfectly reasonable answer.

My sarcastic answer is "so I can see in the dark". But for real, I'm am a sort of mechanic by trade and am always trying to look down in deep dark crannies or working in old plants with less than adequate lighting. And sometimes I have to fix stuff at night but that's where the headlamp comes in. But also because they're cool lol.

A while ago, I started carrying a pen light to see how much I would use it. I started grabbing to use itmore than I thought I would, and now it’s one of the first things to go in my pocket.

Also, The LED & emitter technology these days make for one more gadget for me to geek out on. You can make little Chinese pocket rocket flashlights that are practically lightsabers with the amount of throw you get. If you got time to nerd out, look at Convoy lights

use mine dang near every day. not a mech but i fix hospital equipment for a living. everything is in a tight, dark space. its funny to me when i see another tech pull out their phone to use the light and then they realize the actual phone blocks the view. theyll move the phone over to see, but then they lose the light. so theyll move the phone back a little to see, but the phone will be in the way. then theyll try and rotate the phone to see if that works. it never does and it always hits into something. its a never ending dance until i grab my pen light from my pocket... the phone goes away pretty quick after that. lol

I no longer need a normal knife for an edc. But since I typically open boxes and other stuff. I like this gerber.

Thats actually pretty cool. I was looking at an EDC titanium #10 scalpel holder similar to this. Replaceable blades is the way to go!

I'm a bit different with my choice of torch, mine is UV/blacklight, one of my other hobbies is uranium glass, so I'm often looking for stuff that glows

Yeah, Its an Gen 1 Shield 9. It prints way less than the other carries I own so it gets to be my default carry. Texas is warm as all get out so IWB carry under a t-shirt is how I roll. When its chilly outside during the 1.5 months of winter here, I carry a CZ P07 under a hoodie. What do you carry?

i actually dont carry. i live in Pa but have family and friends in Nj and i work in Ny. Any time i go out its usually to Ny or NJ and damn if i get cought carrying a pistol in Nj with a mag full of +P copper jacketed hollow points, theyd make an example outta me. im more a rifle guy.
i shot a few and really fell for the Shield EZ 380. Before that was a 22 and my technique is lousy. the 380 helps with the recoil flinch, is easier (for me) to keep on target, and is easier (for me) to come back on target. i just gotta get to the range more.

100%. Range time is king. The little Shield 9mm is snappy as all hell but its perfect for hiding in a waistband. Its my get out of jail free pass that will never see the light of day if I am lucky.
