After listing a project truck on Market place for 1200 I have lost all faith in the general population.
Its is not possible to dump down the listing ....
I literally told a really big guy to get out of it and get off my property .

if this ad is up it's still available. Read the listing. Pretty simple. I This is a project truck. 129.000 miles , V6 , Lambo doors. Lowered. The bed has been tubbed and is airbag ready. Right now it's on shocks. . Engine starts with gas in carburetor/ throttle body. Has a tank full of bad gas that needs to be drained. Will need to be towed. Once more this is a project truck. Comes with lien sale completed packet. 1,200 firm. Once more 1200 firm.

I lost faith in humanity a loooong time ago. I hate dealing with people in general. This is the closest thing I have to "social media" and the only place I interact with folks online. I have a buddy that will help me sell stuff on Facebook every now and then but even that usually just ends up frustrating me.....

On that note what kinda truck you trying to sell????

There is nothing worse than trying to sell an old used car. I feel for you. Doesn't matter if it's Facebook, Craigs, Cars.com, etc.

You'll receive messages that simply say "200", nothing else.
You'll receive messages that simply say "trade", with no further details or clarification on what they have for trade, or whether or not this is even a question.
You'll have people that ask for contact info and clearly just want to chit chat about vehicles
You'll have people that come to see the car and ask to drive it that don't even have the money to purchase it

In other words, it's hugely time-wasting and frustrating!

I did a lot of horse trading with cars when I was younger... I would imagine it is even more frustrating now. General decline of automotive knowhow among the masses & all that.

So a guy wanted to hear it run so I told him I'd drop a bit of gas in it. I tell him three timesI'm really worried that I'm going to get a whole lot of the crappy gas into the throttle body. So he starts it up and dies and he just keeps on cranking and he just keeps on cranking. I tell him to stop you heard it run. And the guy says he had never heard of bad gas and then proceeds to crank it some more. I told him to get out of the truck we are done here get off my property. The truck's a hunk of crap. But there's a lot of money into the lambo doors. The whole back of the trucks been cut out and been set up for airbags. Right now it has the air shock setup. It really is a pile of s***. But there's still a lot of money into the truck. It's got a good V6 engine. And a great project truck..

Experiences like yours are the only reason I still have a motorcycle. I ride it once a year to make sure it still works. List it for sale every couple years. Take down the listing because of the idiots.

however, my wife wants the bike gone bad enough that she says she’ll sell it this year. We’ll see if she has more patience than me.
