    Pgp grip frame??

Hello I am trying to locate a 45 grip frame for my Sheridan pgp. Originally I had Palmers Persuit Shop rebuild one for me and they offered the 45 grip frame as an option. They no longer have them because demand was pretty low. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could locate one, or if it is possible to modify something else to fit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

You can use most cocker frames with an adapter.

Or try and locate an m16 frame and toss an adapter block on it

Look up Blue Fork on Facebook. He makes cool trigger frames that fit AR style grips (Like a Phantom 45 which would allow an ASA or stock to be easily mounted) Make sure you ask for a PGP frame. Bottom left in picture

If you have access to a 3D printer, I have a model I posted up for free to adapt a Cocker frame to a Sheridan.

Thanks for the prompt response. What kind of an adapter for the cocker frame?

I can't find mine right now, but it's a thin strip of plastic. I'm sure you could get someone here to print them for you

This is an example of what Ecapnation is talking about. Its a 3d printed adapter that allows cocker frames to be used.

Thanks for the info. I am new to this site. Couldn't locate blue fork JeeperCreeper. Is that their full name?

I should have a spare authentic Palmer's .45 frame for your PGP around somewhere. What does everyone think is the current value of these nolonger available frames?

Interesting thing about these old frames, since they're modified Blazer frames they say PPS Blazer on the side.

IIRC, CCM T2 frames fit on PGPs. Not as ideal as that 3d printed adapter though. That's definitely the way to go, IMO.

I think any cocker hinge will work. You only need the adapter plate for sliders due to the curve of the bottom tube causing the trigger plate to bind.

k_obeastly I think its more about the frame being flat and the body being round.

If you don't have access to a 3D printer, there are a few of us on here that can help you out. I'm north of the border so it might be easier to get someone closer to print one for you.

If you want one out of metal, I could mill you one. Looks like a simple project.

I'm thinking $25 plus shipping but I have to see if they are gonna machine the way I want them to. Thin stock is always a pain in the butt and I picked up a new 7/8" ball end mill.
Got some brass stock that is 1/2" wide for comp frames and 3/4" for sliders (enough stock for six of them). Jon gave me his drawing. Let see how it goes.
