Voting took forever today! Live in semi-urban area. They reduced the number of polling locations this year using corona as the reasoning. End result was just way more people clustered together in never-ending lines and inside of the polling place itself. Voted against the people making those dumb decisions

"... using corona as the reasoning..." there's sadly a lot to unpack in that simple statement.

Voting this year sucked. Left wing, right wing, same stupid flightless bird. Tired of there only being two shitty choices... every vote for Player C is actually a vote for Player A, because Player B was the only one allowed to ACTUALLY participate and needed every vote Player C got in order to beat Player A... land of opportunity, as long as it's the opportunity the electoral college chooses.

At least we have the opportunity to go throw the motions... voting like we're supposed to in our gerrymandered corrupt districts... earning out pointa to go to heaven. The best part about voting is knowing I earned my right to piss and moan about $#!+. Lol. No sense of satifaction or feeling of contribution to greater cause. No overwhelming feeling of community or connection... definitely not even a thought that my vote made a difference.

But I bought the ticket, now I get to take the ride... and bitch about it the whole way there if so am so inclined. Lol.

Dropped off my mail-in ballot about an hour ago. Turnout is looking exceptionally high this year. That's encouraging.

Early voted myself, already knew the ballet and whom I was voting for in each race so why the hell not. I was the only one in there accept the poll workers, one guy was leaving when I showed up and a couple was heading in when I walked out. Easiest vote I've ever done other then absentee when I was in the Navy.

I wish my personalized ads would recognize that I voted early. The ads are vomitous and vomitus. It's like the pie eating contest from "stand by me". Equal time doesn't make them any better.

I voted today, only took about 5 minutes, no line at all.

I had an overseas ballot sent to myself, submitted by only fax or mail. I can't send mail from here, and have no fax machine.

I encourage people to vote selfishly, no matter whom they vote for. It's the best way for us to represent our interests. They need to be our own.

Vote your conscience in whatever race vote for who YOU want. Never bought into the party line or the "strategic" voting... Vote your conscience and keep your mouth shut about it, no one but you needs to know whom you voted for.

Agreed, Vote the way YOU want. All this talk of strategic voting etc is BS and all it does is split the vote so if you really don't want to see one guy get in and the vote get's split (depending on where you are) guess what? the guy you didn't want to get in gets in.

I voted for the first time as an American, so that was pretty cool. Washington does it right. Drop boxes all over the place. No lines.

I've been a strong proponent of this for a long time. Democracy is a selfish system at heart and that's how you gotta run it.

We've always voted, but this was our first time voting by mail. Did it a few weeks ago. Definitely easier than voting in person.

I went to vote before work, 15 minutes after the polls opened and the line was around the entire YMCA, I couldn't tell where it started or ended, and didn't see parking. Went to work an hour early instead. Got home, walked the 1.5 miles to the YMCA because it was nice out, and expected to wait in line a few hours. There were 2 people ahead of me, and I was voting in 5 minutes! It was as painless and easy as all my previous voting experiences, although this was my first time voting since moving in the last year.
