    Empty 12 grams.

I have long wondered "what cool thing can I make out of all my empty 12g power-lets as well as out of date aluminum tanks",

    This video intrigued me.
    Are we there yet?

My plan is to make a vest out of all the used 12grams I've been collecting. I have a 5gal bucket and a half of them now.

We made rockets out of them as a kid.

The rocket part i have question. always wondered if these things could be fired like a mortar, just a tube with a nail/pin at the bottom.

You can shoot them out of a K series Sheridan. Drop it in, aim up and fire it without the 12 gram plug installed. They do not fly straight and can screw up your valve tube threads.

I had a stuck 12ie in a KP2 and my dumb ass forgot it was a live one - shot it right onto the top of my bare foot. hurt like a mofo, had a helluva bruise and swelling. then col. cooper haunted my dreams and yelled at me for being such a moron

I tried the nail in the bottom of the tube before but you need to have a really tight fit of the 12gr rocket or you lose a lot of propellent.

The 12 gram rockets we made were a dead 12ie with the face drilled out so you could fill the thing with match heads.
