I mean, I'm curious. I've loved the dye stuff from day one and been a big fan. Yet, I've never... ever.. Owned a dye gun. Not sure why, just never have. I'm quite curious as to what this is. Maybe I'll change my mind and pick something up. Who knows?

Considering all the three-letter names of cars (BMW, CRX, GTO, LTD, GTX, WRX) trucks (TRD) motorcycles (CBR, GSX, KRX) businesses (IBM, KFC, AMD) and pretty much everything else (SAT, RFK, USB, GOP, FBI, ATM, MLB, NFL, DUI, BBC, CPU, CEO, ad nauseum) there's not many 'cool' ones left.

MXR is already the name of an electric guitar effects pedal, and I'd wager if you looked around, you'd probably also find it on things like snowboards, video cards and probably a line of AXE body sprays that smell like 2-stroke exhaust or something.

(I know nothing about the gun. Just bein' a wiseass. )

After the debacle(s) with their Paragon engine marker, Dye needs to make something truly neat & reliable to have even a chance at getting my attention. I simply don’t think Dye is relevant in the paintgun space outside of the DSR. There are reasons people like the DSR, and I don’t think Dye has done it made a paintgun that comes close to that since.

So I’ll just wait for pictures & grab some popcorn while I continue to shoot my PEs & Tippmanns.

I think the DSR, M3, and Paragon are all interesting guns. I definitely wouldn't consider the Paragon reliable, but it is neat. And I think the DSR and M3 are designed well too.

Check out paintball ruined my life on youtube. Seems like he had some good grabs of what it looks like. I don't know about the MXR. I'm sure it'll be nice but after owning three DLS's I just have a hard time with Dye guns anymore. I will say I really liked the DSR+, but I don't know if the new guns worth more than that.
