    Father & Son

One of the greatest joys in my life so far has been getting my 14 year old son started in the game last year, and witnessing his love for the sport grow exponentially. Exact same age as when I started. Time is fleeting, but these memories will last a lifetime

Started my son playing when he was 9 and now he will be 20 this year. It’s such an absolute blast to play with him and 100 percent agree how fast time disappears. Enjoy every and all moments you get together. Just thought I would share a couple shots of time flying. Paintball has always been a family affair for me. All 6 of my kids have played (at least once) in the last 20 years. My youngest son, sadly doesn't talk to us right now so these memories are what I have. But I loved that time with him and I hope one day he will decide to come back.

The oldest picture (probably around 2005) we all were so young! That was the height of our tournament play. My oldest son still plays everytime he's home. My third oldest has a yearly paintball event with his youth group (He's a youth pastor) and I get invited to play in Jacksonville.

Man, this is a cool thread. My dad took me to play my first real game when I was about 7 maybe. Still remember it to this day. Life is good, God is good.

My oldest started this year. He wasnt sure he liked it after his first game. Now he asks when we are going again. He has been out 3x this year and looking forward to the next.

Can’t wait till I can share paintball with my kids. Few more years and they’ll be at the right age.

Been playing with my dad since we started!

By now we've played all over the country, wish I could find our photos from the Nightmare City game, by far the coolest place we ever played. Supergame was fun though. Fulda Gap is the last big one we want to hit.

Dad started the arms race by buying an e-gripped A-5 and it's just been downhill from there haha.

He's still deadly too, last time at Supergame, final battle starts, I'm looking for where he went and somehow he's all the way at the very front, like a good ten feet ahead of anyone else, leading the vanguard lol

I miss those old Airsport scenario games! I've got a good photo of you and some of the other Marshalls at some PnL game with us somewhere, I'll have to dig it up.

My son started playing with me when I got back into paintball 3 years ago when he was 10. He definitely prefers playing scenario games than open play. He loves wandering around looking for props and role playing. He's won a young guns award at one event, just won a lifetime membership to paintball explosion, brought home 3 new markers and tons of other small stuff. My older daughter who is 7 now keeps asking when she can come with too. My wife just got back into the sport this past summer as well.

Took my 13 year old son out today for the first time. He had a blast. Definitely would had gone sooner except where we lived until earlier this year didn’t have anywhere to play.

He wanted to use everything we brought and nearly did. Ended up using an Etha 3M, ProCarb, VM68 and finished off the day with my Armson Semi. Not bad for his first day!

Have 4 other kids, 3 of which still live at home that I’m trying to convince to come along sometime as well. Realized that my son bragging about how much fun he had is probably way more convincing that dorky old dad trying to get them to come along. 🤣

                2025 edit

Youngest son joined us this weekend. Older son has grown immensely since last year. I imagine he might be taller than me if we get a picture next year.

The first couple paintball games I ever played were with my dad. He also bought me my first marker. Managed to convince him to play for my stag even.

My girls are too young to play but are very eager to try. They shoot most my markers at our target range and help clean markers and are learning to take them apart.

This guy and his 10year old came to an event at our local field for little man's first time!
Kid had a blast and the two of them get my vote for Most Hardcore Lunch with all these MREs!
Worked my magic on em and they want to come to the next Stock Class event!

Last couple years have been really good ones - both my boys got the bug big time, and I'm all to happy to go along with this ride as long as I can.(soccer or paintball? hmmm) Santa delivered some early MCB swag since it might be a minute before we play again after christmas, and they were super stoked. My oldest has been to Bacci mountain twice now and loves it. My youngest likes all things shiny, electro and whatever matt the gym rat says on the youtubes, but we're working on him! both frequent the BST section here, which always makes for good arguments. here we are at the jungle on Saturday looking fly in our new CC jerseys. Definitely got some compliments.

The one time my dad played, I flew him out to CA for SPEW '19. I just had my appendix out, so I couldn't play, but we all had fun anyway. Cancer took him last August.
