My mom makes enchiladas on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day we eat a Swedish rye bread made with molasses and Orange peel with a shitload of butter. I can’t wait to fart a hole into their new couch.

I tried two different prep methods for rib roast the last couple days so I’ll probably be finishing those tomorrow and Christmas Eve. Christmas afternoon/night is historically Tsukiyaki in my family, and even though I can’t go see them this year, I’ll be making it at home.

how else do you celebrate the birth of a kosher man than with a ham?

but honestly...beef stew has been on my mind lately.

I'm making cassoulet for Christmas dinner.

Christmas Eve will probably be be burnt ends and rice.

Italian Feast: Eggplant parm, chicken spedini, meatballs, ravioli, angel hair, cheesecake, wine, homemade limoncello.

              Velcor will save us...

Well we just got a smoker yesterday and I’ve not smoked a turkey in a few years so that’s my plan with all the sides, I’m not from Newfoundland but we also do a jigs dinner.

For my family Xmas eve diner is a normal dinner. May do it as what we usually do one Fridays which is "Fun food Friday" which is really just getting whatever you want as long as its here and you can cook it.

On Xmas we don't do dinner we do a family Breakfast with everyone. 10-15 people come.
Queshe, sausage, bacon, ham, pancakes, & more.

Lasagna, we have gotten tired of traditional big dinners for Christmas so my wife and daughter asked if I would make my Lasagna. Actually just got done baking it now it gets refrigerated and rewarmed on Christmas evening. Lasagna is always better reheated then freshly baked.

My family started doing Christmas Eve tacos and beergaritas. Eat as much or as little as you want. Make great leftovers for Christmas afternoon before the usual big meal.

Due to the Christmas vacation I only get it every two years. We’re at the in-laws for Christmas Eve, so no delicious tacos until Christmas afternoon.

We do a smorgasbord at my mom’s house. My wife and daughter make a kransekake, which is a Norwegian “cake” made of iced almond cookie rings. That’s what I’ll probably survive on for the next three days.

We’re having 7 fish tonight and lasagna tomorrow. There’s a lot of family staying with us so it will be a big meal. I’m not responsible for any of that but I do clean dishes.
