I've bought a number of things off of him. Not a bad dude in my opinion, he is a collector as well believe it or not. Has a hobby and monetizes it too, I can't knock the hustle. By and large he keeps the rare and special pieces intact and sells the whole marker. Other stuff gets parted. He's always been pretty reasonable with me, honestly.

I think a lot of the disdain comes from the fact that many of us have tried really hard (many still trying) to piece guns back together, so you hate to see stuff apart. I'd pay extra for the whole gun frankly, but selling off an Axe frame? You split apart an Axe? Really?
Just don't buy from people like that. For the hard to find pieces you honestly have better luck putting up a WTB thread. People here have lots of stuff and extras, usually you just need to ask.
The thing that will forever piss me off are the folks that put parts in the paintball guns section of ebay. Special place in paintball hell for those people.I am the admin...Comment

Same. I wasn’t going to reply defending this guy again because some of these pickle farmers love to hate him. He got people their angels back (I’m not even going to get into the checking if their stolen originally thing because that’s just silly), he doesn’t frequent these parts, unless it’s under some secret name only his greatest haters know about, and when he bought a high end marker off of me, he paid me a very fair price- it’s not like he low balled and doubled.I've bought a number of things off of him. See you in the next Curated thread.

NYballer something, IIRC, is Curated -
I know he has a username, but I don’t see him actively sniping deals. The fact that he hasn’t been on in five days kind of proves he isn’t the sniper some of these guys think. Lol. ORRR
MAYBE HE KNOWS WHEN THE DEALS ARE COMING AND ONLY LOGS IN JUST BEFOREHAND TO SNIPE FROM THE SHADOWS!

Curated is a good dude. I have bought multiple markers from him and will continue to buy more rare markers/ hard to find parts from him. Message him on Facebook and he will give you a better price buying directly from him. Also, he has someone that does his listings and that's why sometimes the parts are mislabeled. This isn't his primary source of income and does it more for the hobby.
I have also sold a few markers to him knowing that he would relist them. Time is money and having a solid offer upfront rather than dealing with a bunch of window shoppers is time well spent.Comment

In my mind there was a bad man with a rubber apron and heavy gloves made from baby sheep at the end of a conveyor belt with beautiful rare paintball guns coming down it at the pace of his foot pedal that controlled the belt speed. Maniacally he laughs as he tears them apart one by one, tossing pieces into rusty fifty gallon drums and hitting the green button that lights a neon sign that says “cash” with every toss!Comment

What's silly about it? He shouldn't ask questions when he finds a load of very custom angels? Even if ECA guy had lied to him, he didn't ask questions before putting them up for sale.
When I bought my mag the lady selling it seemed a little sketchy and definitely didn't know anything about it. So before I went about modifying it I asked around if anyone in my area had a mag stolen. BEFORE I did anything to it. Nothing turned up so I went about my business.

My biggest gripe with them is I’ve purchased some rather rare stuff from them and been burned multiple times by their poor packaging. I got a couple angel bodies that can’t be used (they got damaged in transport because shipped them in bubble mailers) that I had plans for.. and an 07 ego solenoid that doesn’t work but I didn’t open the box in time to test it .. that one’s on me.Comment

Same thing happened to me with an ego noid. Bought if on ebay and didnt get around to the project fast enough to discover that the noid didnt work. Guess its my fault for assuming the part would be functional.
However, he has accepted every lowball offer I've thrown at him on ebay, so he lists high but will come down in price to move things.

I don’t know man.. I’ve bought plenty of lots and not once thought to myself, “I wonder if these are stolen…”
I’m sure the same is true for many, many folks.
That is why it is undoubtedly silly.
Buttt, I guess you didn’t have to return markers to people you paid for thanks to your due diligence. Anyways, you’re just looking to hate him, dude gave stuff back after it was stolen, so clearly he didn’t buy with malicious intent.
Oh, and “quoting” counts as an @. ✋Comment

How many lots have you purchased of multiple custom high end builds from someone who is known around the Internet for being shady and uncommunicative as well as having multiple customer markers that have not been completed for years? There's a lot of red flags there and personally I don't care that he bought them, it's that he listed them for sale before checking around that gets to me.

Yes he did the right thing after that but he didn't really have an option. If he sold them he would have been guilty of selling stolen property not to mention lose what standing he did have in the community. As is this thread is about 50/50 on people willing to buy from him. I suspect that number would be a lot less in his favor if it was known that he sold stolen markers.
That whole situation is just the same as he is still doing, he doesn't always know what he is selling because he is running so fast and loose. We just had that thread last week about him selling an "aftermarket" spyder bolt that was actually a stock bolt. A 5 second Google search would have told him it wasn't what the packaging said. Literally listing it took longer.
I delt with Richard from dirty works for a year, it was a lot of the same stuff with him. He doesn't know what he is doing, paintball is just a money maker. That guy couldn't diagnose a spyder but he offers airsmith services for Bob long legacy stuff
Feel free to unsubscribe from the thread but it's a discussion forum and I intend to discuss

Riot i can only speak from my own and close friends' experiences.
-Improperly packaged guns and parts showing up damaged with zero/minimal effort to correct things.
-Uncalled for rudeness during interactions
-delusional levels of greed and zero willingness to reason, even "outside of ebay"
Ryan and the guys hes "hired" for CuratedPaintball are killing the sport with their attitudes toward reselling. There is no sense of respect or fairness for taking markers and parts out of reach for the ones who deserve them. They are severely missing out on the second half of "By Players, For Players" and the spirit of paintball.

I could care less about eBay, but I dislike it more when sellers on MCB do it and then resell back to this community. Instantly buying up markers that are priced fairly within 10 minutes of being posted only to turn around and jack the price up to make a quick profit is the dirty play in my book. I made a repeat offender wait on a parts lot I listed a while back just to give other people a chance first. Not everyone sits with their finger on refresh around here, sheeshLast edited by GanonsGrin; 06-25-2025, 08:57 PM.Comment

With all the ads on Bay, he has to mark everything up. The ones that don't sell must cost a fortune to keep reposting and reposting.
If he wasn't making any $, he wouldn't do it.
I will say he has it organized pretty good, but he must have to with over 7300 items up right now and 8900 sold.
I do cry just a bit when I see new ones taken apart bit by bit.Comment

If he makes one sale he generally makes double what the item is worth. All he needs is one person who is desperate enough or ignorant enough
