Hard to tell now-a-days. We could do a poll on here...

I will say that there is a Large contingent in the North East

Most everything was hit on already but I'll add my worthless and possibly dubious comments.

Don't ask what the M is for.

No one was harmed in the firing of the muffin gun.

Harb will always wield the ban hammer

If the cook gets thirsty we go hungry

    Chappy is the General

    We lost the golfcart

When we defended the Castle the only way the attackers were able to get in is to smoke us out, some brave warriors threw up in the walls before abandoning their posts. That was the last time they allowed smoke to be used in the castle.

We have a long history of honoring airsmiths with their own sub-forum. This sub-forum is unfortunately cursed and means the beginning of the end for their business. Only two have managed to avoid the curse.

Our first home at EMR was a Rasta painted bunkhouse with a army of small grills that we fired up multiples of to feed everyone.Spreading like a fungus we outgrew those accommodations. At that time we moved down the hill closer to the fields, but not close enough that we could actually make it to the field for the first whistle.

The new digs had a deck that we would make famous and a bunk next to it that we would call the "Cold Ass Barn" (CAB for short) because we were too many to fit in just one bunkhouse.

About our departure from EMR I will only say that there were good times, but the time had come.

The original group that coalesced at EMR was naturally made up of people on the east coast, especially New England and the Mid Atlantic areas. Although, in it's heyday, people would travel to EMR from foreign countries like Canada or even California

But in a broader sense, MCBers around the country have thrown on Hawaiian shirts or bought into jersey runs and showed up at games calling themselves Commandos. Somewhere there's a thread of jersey numbers, you just go over there and claim a number and onto the list you go

The empire that was MCB died and all the history of the universe lost with it. Then it lived again. The end.

I took a break for a few months and came back to a whole new site with all the old posts lost. I was wondering what had happened. Thank you for the info. Sad to see all those old posts gone though.

I'm glad to see that Tiger's (Tyger's?) paintball videos were appreciated. It always amazed me how much thought and effort he put into them. I learned a lot from his videos. Seems I still have at least a few of them after all of these years; in their 4:3 (320:240) grainy glory. Where I grew up playing, we didn't have fields anything like those he featured in his videos. I didn't see an indoor field for myself for another half decade. Fond memories...

Wow, thanks for reminding me of Tyger. Those videos blew my mind as a kid, especially the idea of having an indoor field to play at. Pretty cool videos. I remember flipping between Tyger's videos and WARPIG tv.

I was a latecomer to WDR and I also appreciated Tyger's commentary, as well as the specops goodness that was omnipresent in the early 2000s.
