I'll try to find out. There are 2 different relatively frequent barefoot walkers around that lake - I did ID one of them when I saw her in person, was a little old Asian lady. Whoever left that waddle had to have been there not too long before me

these are the kind of little details I can't help but keep in a constantly updating mental map

Update! we had the remnants of Rachel dump a couple inches of rain on us in SoCal, so yesterday the trails were too soupy to effectively see anything

Update! no new evidence of the Charlie Chaplin stance walker . . . but I have catalogued a new barefoot user of those trails. Came across a dude trail running it barefoot recently, and today saw lots of evidence he is hardcore enough to do it despite the rains we recently had. He nearly biffed it in at least 2 places based on the sliding footprints he left in a couple of the soupier sections. No pics of that, I was trying to keep Pumpernickel out of the muck while keeping my pace ... and also not slipping ... to try

man, what is happening in your life that this is important enough to take pictures and post about? id say go touch grass, but you'd probably open a case file on who picnicked last under the elm tree.
