Received this mag as a Walz from Mar last season. I don’t want to see it languish and sit in a closet. With that in mind I bought a barrel, hopper, and elbow to set it up, so I could give it away here. Thought maybe it could be passed on to someone without their own setup.

To everyone that’s viewed but hasn’t commented or participated. Do you feel this is in poor taste or is there something else that is keeping participation down? It seems that this is pretty stagnant and I’d like to liven it up before it ends.

Help me out, what’s holding you back?

Will be picking up some things for my work place toys for tots box this week. Just been busy with two Thanksgivings.

I can only speak for myself, but most of the charities I donate to are associated with politics to some degree and I try to keep my beliefs separate from this community as it's truly one of the last places on the internet without political arguments and the like. That being said I'm hoping to grab some toys for tots when I get around to my in store Xmas shopping!

I am having the same response with my membership giveway. I have had very few entries and one suddenly became green! Walzmas is just slow this year so far.

it’s not in poor taste, in fact, I think I did this a few years ago. A few things I learned…

- Receipts
- Privacy

1) Stricter guidelines seem distasteful since its charity, but someone trying to win a prize needs proof. Most websites will show you a direct receipt. If it was more of a Toys For Tots situation… the toy had to be bought somewhere.

2) Not everyone wants to show that they did or how much they donated. These things are private for some. I took it upon myself to PM you, but make sure people know that’s an option.

3) Ask PaintHappy or one of the Cuckmandos to change your title. Something that explains the thread a little better. “Donate to Win a Mag” or something of the sort. Probably get more eyes on the thread.

I’ll add, while I was going to donate to the causes I did, this helped them out because I definitely added an extra $10 to each one to get one more slot here trying to win the mag.

And just to cover my own ass, in case this post seems in bad taste, I will also be donating the marker (or turning it into a donation one way or another) if I win.
