He has now sent out 3 checks, I just told him my mailbox was broken into while on vacation and the latest check was taken.

Lol good stuff. Is he sending money orders? Or checks?

"checks" we are pretty sure he is printing them at home.

We are now on to 4 he has sent out. He is sending them all in priority mail envelopes so it's at least a couple bucks each.

So I've cost him around $10 at this point.

Priority mail envelopes are more, are they the flat rate ones? Theyre up to like $7-8 each last I checked. Good stuff lol

your mailbox was broken into. That's brilliant.

Have you actually seen any of these "checks" yet? How long do you think this will go on? You are using a PO box, right?

No unfortunately. Yes I've seen them.

I sent him my address when I thought this was legit at the start because of a certified check.

However, he doesn't know that. And when it all comes crashing down I'm planning to mention to him that someone was getting all the checks because I gave him a false address. It's thin but it's what I got.

He originally told me that the checks were certified by Chase Bank. Both checks that have made it here came from, not Chase Bank, and different banks at that. They also have a business name on them like they are coming from a business account but it's different businesses each time.

Just put all the checks in an envelope and send them back with a note saying wrong address.

But that would cost money. He should just keep changing the excuse. For a last resort, I would tell him, “the teller said they didn’t recognize the banking entity, do you have another check with a different bank?”

Or maybe it’s collage time lol and send him a pic & a middle finger
