Watch it while you can

[Pyrate Jim]

This recently showed up on the yube, don't know how long it will be up. These obscure cult classics tend to fade away.
I had seen this movie decades ago; it impressed me enough that I also had the vinyl LP of the music.
Phantom Of The Paradise

Sort of an LSD induced comic book mixture of Faust and Phantom of the Opera put on film.
Well worth the watch, if you can handle it. Then you'll want to watch it again while sober.

As a kid I always confused this with KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park since I saw them at almost the same time, once, and then not again for decades.

that ones having a resurgence with the japanese comic book crowd. this guy definitely took some inspiration from Phantom Of The Paradise
