Read the first four "Way of Kings" books by Sanderson last year. So good!
Trying to support my wife's Romantasy hobby now, and I'm reading "Assistant to the Villain". Not bad so far.
Flipping through some old thrift store paintball book finds and came upon a chapter written by half of G&H Customs! BretG, ill have to get you to autograph my copy next time I see you! Great writing!
Yes, I wrote 25 or so articles that were published in almost all the different publications at that time. They needed lots of filler for between the pictures and ads.
I am re-reading 'Ilium' by Dan Simmons. I had thought about re-reading it, and it's sequel 'Olympos', earlier this year . . . but then remembered that my old kindle keyboard had finally died and the only versions I owned were for that medium. And then the author died - so I bought myself a refurb Kindle paperwhite because I knew I needed to re-read them now.
long winded way to say I am re-reading one of my favorite 2 book sci-fi series.
as for dead tree press stuff - my Mom continues to go through stuff in her house and mail things out to me. She just found this and sent it along my way

My local library has this big "Get Your Banned Books Here!" sign. I was really tempted to ask for this, Expedient Homemade Firearms, and a few other such very difficult to obtain books.
Never been much of a reader as an adult. On Tuesday my wife got me to start Dungeon Crawler Carl, and I enjoyed it thoroughly and I plowed through it. Now I'm over half done with the 2nd book in the series Carl's Doomsday Scenario.
Decided to check this out on your recommendation. I’m on book 3. Enjoying it. First book I bought was soft cover but damn are the books expensive. Turns out it’s free on Kindle Unlimited so flying through the books.
Ya, lots of scientific and mathematic jargon. My wife and I are both reading through it as well. She read The Martian before we saw that and we'll likely go see this one when we're done.
Just finished Trinity and Trinity's Children by Dave Bara. I'm currently reading Impulse from the same author, which is the first volume of the Lightship Chronicles trilogy.
I've been reading The Final Architecture series by Adrian Tchaikovsky. I read #1 (Shards of Earth) a few years ago, and borrowed #2 and #3 (Eyes of the Void and Lords of Uncreation) from a coworker. I finished #2 last week, started #3 over the weekend. Hoping to finish tonight.
I haven't yet, my wife and I just watched Project Hail Mary after we both read the book. She's going to start the book shortly and we'll likely check out the miniseries after. Typically, the book is better so we're prepared to be disappointed.
just snagged a copy of "Roadside Picnic" by the Strugatsky brothers.
