6-12 months ago I had the hint to buy KODK, someone on a message board posted something like "KODK will probably go up one day". Well, that day came yesterday... and it is just... disgusting. I never would have owned it anyway, but damn.

I finally sold mine then, tired of its terrible record. Hindsight...

I wouldn't sweat your put too hard unless you placed it before AMD took off. There is naturally some over-exuberance priced in and I think AMD will pull back about 5% over the next week.

I agree on Intel, and I think it'll recover. I grudgingly agree with you on AMD, I have a lot in a put at the moment...

So Intel dropped off the face of the earth this morning, made out pretty nicely. Now for AMD and NIO...

Looks like an opportunity to me. I trimmed a little of my AMD holding (8 shares) and rolled that into Intel at $48/share for 15 shares. Just wanted to cover my bases a little.

Long term I think Intel is going to do fine and they are kind of the "Coke" or brand name when it comes the CPU's. AMD is a total bull though, if there is an opportunity where it's trading at a discount I might go in for some more AMD down the road.

Big morning dip today. Bought several shares of Apple at a great price.

As much fun as paper trading is I'll be honest the main reason I don't do it is because if there is a good deal on a stock at any given moment I'm probably trying to jump on that buy with real money, not go into paper trading it. I'll probably not be doing much of the Marketwatch game...

Alright so Intel gets a good earning report but apparently a chip is being delayed? So i have a put for $57.5 expiring August 21st and right now its at $54.10. So tomorrow morning when the price's update, I may be looking good. BUT, AMD decided to do up almost $5 after hours, and I also have a put on that. So after getting beat up for 2 weeks, I can finally get up and dust myself off a bit, only to get kicked in the balls.

I too will join in a day or two, and I'll cash out that 1MM and retire instantly :P
Anyway, same boat as eddie. Can't catch a break, only get caught by the breaks.
Paper til' elections for me then flip a coin and all-in (no emotions, no due diligence).

In the mean while, I have hatched a scheme to make a quick buck, a 2 phase plan. If anyone wants to help out PM me, (you need active reddit account 2+ months old + other socials). Phase 1 doesn't start for a few days I need to generate a product... and we will try to sell the product. It is a meme product.

I joined this game...looks interesting. The limit is a year and the paper money 1MM bucks. Not too bad.
