Hey fellas,
For the past few years I've been getting more and more into Sim Racing. I got a g29 on boxing day in 2017(keep your eyes peeled this year as Logitech has "updated" it with a new name: g923) and bought a wheel stand.
A couple months ago my dad and I spent a day building a proper rig. I grabbed a TRD Celica seat out of a junkyard Celica, and Bought some plywood and 2x4s. This is what we came up with:
Just a single monitor setup, some cheap logitech speakers. The biggest 'upgrade' was actually the inverted pedals. Even with the stock potentiometer they feel massively better.
Eventually I want to upgrade to a CSL Elite bundle with a load cell, but for now this works great.
I race in Assetto Corsa in the SRS leagues, currently competing in the zerobandwidth MX5 series. I also participate in 2 monthly Endurance races in GT Sport.
Any other simthusiasts on here?
