There's a brand of front windshield sunshade I prefer over those silver roll-up kind, covercraft UVS 100, hard, foldable, and custom cut to fit.. if I've done the research correctly. The model code that should fit a base 89 ramcharger is UV10134SV (SV is the color code) I tend to buy from Amazon. Because covercraft charges a lot for shipping

Those are cool! I was looking for one but gave up. Any update on the 360 swap? My old 76' Cherokee Wagoneer had a 360, it was a beast

Nope I am still in the process of getting the stock 318 out. My garage is to full to put it in and it’s still winter out

I have driven powerful cars but never one that makes driving fast so effortlessly. Such a well engineered sports car. Somehow they made it fun to drive at the same time. I love the fighter jet style cockpit feel.

I don’t LOVE the cockpit. I grew up with Supras, RX-7s, and 300zx. But they were on the right track.

Brand new Tdub. Gift to myself for my 40th birthday last week. I’ve got a number of things I want to add to it, but first things are gonna be a better luggage/pouch setup and bigger foot pegs. These pegs aren’t big enough for my size 13 boots.

Paintslinger16 About a half hour south of Stevens Point. So smack in the middle, lol.

I see you’re in Milwaukee. I do get down to Siege once in a while and I play for With Intent (the little that I do, lol). I’d like to get down there a couple times this year.

My Odyssey with some new kicks. Dealer stopped supporting the PAX tires, so I had to get different rims. Found these BMW rims on marketplace for cheap and the oversized tires are fun!

Reposting my Cutlass from back at the beginning of the thread:

That original photo had been taken somewhere around 2013-2014, not long after I first got it on the road. Since then I've completely rebuilt the suspension at both ends, reconstructed the entire brake system end to end, swapped the old 10-bolt for a 12-bolt with a Posi, upgraded the front sway bar and added a rear, refreshed the interior (new buckets, converting to floor shift, etc.) repaired the rusty floorpans, and I just finished swapping in a 2004R with overdrive.

And a couple of weeks ago I just dusted off the parts I've had laying around to build a fresh 350 for it, and trying to decide if I want to listen to my wallet and build it on a shoestring, or listen to my heart and build it for some good solid HP.

Cleaned her up today after all that front end work. Also about a month ago I installed these subs that I had gotten for free. I made my own mount and turned this dead space, also known as the battery box, into a sub box. Oh the windshield washer tank is back there, too. Mitsubishi and their fine engineering department 🙄.
Lots of soundproofing, and swearing, but it works just fine. I also put 4 Kenwood speakers in the doors. Its not early 00's thump, it just sounds like a decent car stereo now. Good enough to blast old NFS soundtracks and cruise. Decadence by Disturbed, if you know, you know.

I cant wait to get my big turbo and fuel system in it.

And she's off for a few checks and hopefully minor tweaks, and then with a sprinkling of money dust, I'll be pesting about the neighbourhood this weekend.
Somehow the pictures make her look waaaay tidier than she appears in person.

Nice that does look like a fun car. What did it need to get going? Is it a manual?

Manual 4spd, just a few tweaks after sitting for too long. Just a raw drive. Little more than a go cart. No anything beyond steering, go, whoah, and clutch. Highest point, with stock suspension is just over hip height. Just blat around the hood to find any quirks, and to see how reliable it might be before I go on any decent drives
