Any ideas on why this won’t turn over?
I’ve got my suspicions that I’m going to have to degunk/drain the carb, but I’d like to have someone smarter than me confirm it.
This 2001 Yamaha VStar 1100 sat with the gas in it for over a year, and I want to sell it so I went to start it up, and no-go.
Video of no-go
Things I know:
Battery was on trickle charger the entire time.
Tank was drained through the valve, so liquid flows through that.
Gas was blown out of whatever hoses I could detach.
Carb diaphragms taken off, allowed it to sit for a couple hours hoping to dry up residual old gas.
Found drain valve on carbs, took screw totally out, no liquid flowed out even with tank refilled and valve in on position.
Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks.
