When we had the Camaro, and I was in sight of the car I utilized it to get people to back away. I have no idea what it was about that car that made random people think it was ok to sit on and such.Comment

Car alarms are one of those things that lost efficacy in ubiquity. I wish they'd either engineer one that's far more difficult to set off or just stop making them.Comment

Yeah I have a neighbors alarm that went off around 3am two times in one week. I'm listening to it do its thing (luckily its just the HONK kind) but since its the HONK kind and the stock one on my car is also a honk type, I sit there thinking "maybe it is my car, afterall" but its just the same honda accord. I'm glad I'm not the only one who hates the car alarm.
