    interior paint - headliner

My headliner drooped and failed on my 2007 honda accord. So I removed the fabric, and the old adhesive has discolored the headliner board but its since dried and not very tacky anymore ( and I mean in the physical sense, I know it is Aesthetically tacky! )

The prices I was quoted by automotive upholstery places was crazy to replace headliner.

I'm what you call frugally minded, so I think I'll just paint it , and call it a day.

My question is: What would be an appropriate interior paint I should use? Considerations are here in Ontario, the winters are very cold, and peak of summer is hot, hot hot.

    Danke,

    M7

After 2007 Honda Accord “frugally minded” was a given 😂 Interested to see where this goes.

Brother if you're so inclined to spray over the headliner base it doesn't matter if you use kraylon or water colors.

You're past the point of worrying if it looks right at all.

Go out the shed and find whatever half empty 1 gallon can color you like and put it on with a brush.
