We finished our half done paver edging over memorial weekend. I missed out on balling on Sunday to get it complete. 150 pavers cut into the ground to wrap newly added gardens and deck.

Added dirt and gravel where needed to kind of work on some of our grading issues.

Also the prairie smoke is Prairie smoking.

The columbine look nice also, the rest of my pollinator garden is of varied growth yet.

Did you use any kind of plans? I hope to expand our porch/ sm. deck to a lager one similar to yours and just trying to figure out a materials list seems very involved.

We used the menards deck calculator. It got most of the plans done for us. Auto populated the materials, and set up delivery all in one stop. It wasnt perfect though. I ended up with a ton of extra screws of the 2.5" variety. And ai was short on a bunch of the shorter ones. We ended up having to go back for lag bolts and other bits as we progressed. But lumber was close, concrete was dead on, and the clips came out a few short.

In the calculator's defense We deviated from the plans because I wanted my deck posts inside of the rim joist, and I did a double rim joist, plus some other similar "make it nicer" on the fly decisions.

Best part of it all, is you get 11% cash back buying the materials there. We built the deck for about 4k. And we got a free patio set with the rebate money.

I replaced the plastic edging around the flower beds in our front yard last year. Back breaking few days. I cut into the grass and added leveling sand to get them to sit nice. I used somewhere close to 200 blocks.

This was the first trip to Home Depot.

A few angles of some of the bee garden not all of it, but some of the flowers are already done. It's time for my tenants to benefit from the garden. We have a few monarchs roaming around, and a ton of cute bumble bees just stripping flower cones bare! I'm happy my garden is supporting the pollinators.
