    Evil Autococker...?

Did Evil ever produce a complete Autococker?

I can only find barrels, beavertails, bolts, cocking rods, front blocks, and valves made by Evil in relation to Autocockers.

Even the bolts only seem to be made in Evo-length... which seems pretty specific to a limited number of models, possibly an in-house model of their own?

Team-only marker(s)? I'm pretty sure that the Evil factory team players could use whatever they wanted, so I don't know if Evil pumped out team specific custom markers... probably not, given that you see Pimps with trigger guards cut and bent by people who were on the Evil team. Lol.

Any info on Evil Autocockers would be appreciated.

Evil never made bodies or complete guns, to my knowledge. They made everything except bodies and trigger frames.

Interesting. More stuff to add to my list of BS to hunt down in my never ending quest for Evil stuff.

      FFFUUU...

I agree. I don't think they ever made a full cocker.
I wonder if you could convert an omen body?

Omens make better pumps than they do Electro's.

We are going to have to agree to disagree on that one. It might not be a high end top tier pump but I have sure used worse.

Wow. Such love for the Omen. Lol.

Anyways, I tracked down a cocking rod, front block, and LPR. Any ideas on where to look for the 3-way and ram?

And found a picture of the pneumatics kit Evil apparently once offered...

The evil 4-way was the only one in paintball.to use -002 o-rings instead of the standard -003. #FunFact

Also, evil barb's suck, they are super short, however the front blocks were I think the most cut down/lightweight blocks offered.

Do the smaller O-rings translate into any tangible results... less friction due to less surface area? Higher pressure due to less surface area?

Either way, thanks for the tidbit of information. Always welcom, and appreciated.

Looks like they used a fairly large diameter ram housing too. I wonder if this is kind of like the "gentle touch" ram that Inception makes where the aim was to lower the closing force of the bolt.

Wasn't Evil in bed with PMI for awhile? Didn't PMI produce a few Autococker right feed bodies back in the day? Would it make sense to combine these?

I know it doesn't matter what pneumatics go on what body, really, but in the name of keeping everything as Evil as possible...

It's not so much that Evil was "in bed" with PMI so much as they were subsidiaries of the same parent company.

Just so you know, Evil pneumatics are generally considered among the worst pneumatics ever made. I'm not entirely sure if the smaller o-rings or the barbs are a factor in that, but I'd assume so. The barb issue should be easily rectified with some hose locks. The ID version is pretty innocuous, way less noticeable and easier to use than the old top hats. In theory the smaller o-rings would translate to faster switching distance. The ram diameter doesn't look any different from an STO, it just looks fatter because it's shorter. The ID ram achieves its "gentle touch" by using a fatter ram shaft, meaning there's less surface area on the piston.

And as a random fun fact, the PMI cockers were ghost built by BBT.

Now, as far as sourcing various evil parts, your best bet would be to go onto the main autococker fb group and post a WTB.

BBT? Only thing popping up in a search is Bad Boys Toys... is that correct?

And are the Evil barbs threaded the same as other barbs?

I don't do the FaceSpace, so that avenue of parts procurement is not an option for me. Which is probably last fine. I don't need to be pursuing a rare Autococker build, right meow, anyways. I have a Trilogy pump and a halfback Trilogy semi-auto for all my Autococker wants and needs.

Honestly, I will keep grabbing parts when I find them... every time I go to ebay, "evil paintball" is my default, pop-up search... I will track them down eventually. Even if the pneumatics are not especially awesome, it will sit on the shelf with all the other Evil crap I have accumulated. It will rarely get used past its initial testing and break-in match. I can only play with one marker at a time, anyways, and the Evil Spyder, or Evil Pimp is going to be that one marker more often than not.
                    Working...
