Damn, I loved the 100 round VL tubes.βIt is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.β -KrishnamurtiComment

Dang, those are long! I still use a set of 100 round ones but the carry pouch for it rotted away at the stitches so I had to buy a modern equivalent set of pods to get another pouch. They are GenX Global and have a slightly chunkier lid. These are backups for when my at least 20 year old Viewloader ones develop a single problem but so far they haven't.
(As nice as the pods are, really its the VLbow I wish I could buy now.)Comment

I got two vl bows, Use them on the older markers with wide feednecks. Love my blue bow on my raptor with a blue vl revy. Also found the pro version of these pods on ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/Viewloader-...-/280626802867Dang, those are long! I reaaaallly like the new BunkerKings ESC pods. They are cheap $25 for 8. Never had one pop open and I run strapless pack and play snake. Textured enough they are grippy but dont snag. They also have a foam pad inside the lid that keeps paint snug and rattle free.Comment

If only there was a way to strap the pods into your pack π€¦ββοΈπ€£
On that note- I decided this weekend that I really dislike strapless packs. I had several pods pop open while sliding, and lost two straps on a slide...Comment

That gives me an idea: I have a roll of 1/4" neoprene with an adhesive backer. I only used a couple small pieces to put a pad on my precision rifle stocks (makes getting into the same head position every time for the perfect eye relief a snap). I would prefer something a little thicker and more compressible, but I think it will work. Another project!
